That’s why we—Carly Watson and Gaby Davidson—are launching Ops & Ends, a blog about the weird, wonderful, deeply nerdy world of RevOps. We’re here to talk about the systems we love (hi, HubSpot 👋), the duct-tape solutions we’ve made beautiful, and all the little wins that make life in operations feel like solving a glitter-covered Rubik’s Cube (some days).

Who we are, and why we’re allowed to complain about broken lead routing

👋 Carly Watson (that’s me) started in marketing ops, which is basically the wild west of attribution, lead scoring, and people asking if you can “just spin up an email real quick.” I’ve spent years optimizing campaigns, wrangling data, and whispering sweet nothings to HubSpot workflows to make them behave. I’m also a big believer in glitter, color coding, and the kind of documentation that makes future-you weep tears of gratitude.

👋 Gaby Davidson came up through sales ops, where the motto is “if it touches the CRM, it probably needs fixing.” She’s a deal desk queen, a process sleuth, and the person you want in your corner when your pipeline’s a mess and your reps are rebelling. She’s lived the chaos of compensation plans, quota headaches, and CRM hygiene crimes—and survived to tell the tale.

Together, we’ve got the full funnel covered. And we’re bringing that cross-functional energy to this blog.

What Ops & Ends is (and what it’s not)

This isn’t your CEO’s RevOps blog. We’re not here to write 3,000 words about “synergizing revenue architecture” and call it a day. Nope.

Ops & Ends is where we:

  • Show our actual work: HubSpot tips, experiment results, and the duct tape + dreams combo that got it done
  • Laugh through the pain: Because if you don’t giggle at your broken lead lifecycle, you’ll cry
  • Trade secrets: We’ll share templates, checklists, and spicy takes on operations best practices

If you’ve ever spent too long debugging a workflow loop, cursed a rogue lifecycle stage, or secretly loved updating your documentation because it made your heart feel calm(er)—this space is for you.

Let’s make operations cool again. Or at least functional.

So whether you’re a fellow ops gremlin, a HubSpot devotee, or just someone who loves seeing chaos slowly transform into clarity, follow along. We’re just getting started, and we’ve got big plans, big charts, and bigger feelings.

Come for the revops. Stay for the sass.
